After returning from the moon, he made many attempts at long-term recovery, until he finally figured it out. He took at least thirty 30-day coins, and even drank on Antabuse.
Then Elizabeth Patterson sits down with Neil to talk about her many attempts at getting clean and sober. She lived to use, and used to live. She also found long term recovery, and now lives a life of grateful recovery.
